Dato' Faridah Omar Shah

YBhg Dato’ Faridah Omar Shah has received her MBA in marketing degree from United Kingdom in 1980 and since then involved in diverse business ventures ranging from property development, marine engineering, tourism, construction and manufacturing both in Malaysia and internationally. YBhg Dato’ Faridah Omar Shah was a key player in the transformation of Sedap Food Confectionery Berhad (SFCB), into a multi billion dollar shipbuilding and marine engineering company when it undertook a series of acquisition and privatization, including a shipyard in Australia and Republic of Ghana and Naval Dockyard in Malaysia. She was involved Electronic & Electrical components industry of public listed company, Setron Malaysia Berhad and Macro Corporation Ltd, another public listed company on the Australian Stock Exchange dealing in the leisure and tourism industry.

YBhg Dato’ Faridah Omar Shah has held top leadership positions dealing in all major business continents spanning across Asia, Africa and Europe. She has been appointed as Executive Director of Penang Shipbuilding & Construction Sdn Bhd, a company which prides itself servicing the government of Ghana and Malaysia as well as multinational giants such as Petronas, Shell and Exxon Mobil. She was appointed as the Executive Chairman of Actacorp Holdings Berhad, a public listed company on the Malaysian Stock Exchange involved in the construction and property development which constructed some of Kuala Lumpur landmarks including Wisma Goldhill, Desa Kiara Condominium with wide ranging experience in geotechnics, waterproofing, tunneling.

Between 1996 to 2010, YBhg Dato’ Faridah Omar Shah has been serving director in BF Property & Construction Pvt. Ltd, Creek Developer Pvt. Ltd, STP-Arash Pvt. Ltd and Women Entrepreneur Network Sdn. Bhd. After serving in multidimensional capacities for over 25 years Dato’ has set up her own business through Arash Ventures Sdn. Bhd. , to enter into classified fields as Project Management, Property Development, Power Generation and Trading, etc.


Lam Poh Lian

Lam Poh Lian is President and CEO of QEOS LED, a subsidiary of QEOS, driving the company strengths towards being the next frontier of lighting technology. QEOS LED technology has the ability to produce LED lighting products that have ultra-low energy consumption, extremely long lifespan and excellent photometric properties suited for broad range of applications, from health-care and hospitality industry to semiconductor and food industry.

She also serves as Chief Technology and Operating Officer of Quantum Electro Opto Systems (QEOS), a RM50 million technology company producing cutting edge connectivity technology solutions that includes more than 50 patents applied and awarded worldwide, connection people, power and data connectivity technology.



Dr. Gabriel Walter

Founder & Group Chief Executive Officer


Dr. Gabriel Walter hails from Sarawak, Malaysia. A Kelabit by birth, which is one of the ethnic minorities from Sarawak. He received his B.S, M.S, and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois-Urbana Champaign (UIUC), Urbana, IL, in 1998, 2001, and 2003, respectively. He spent a total of 17 years in Illinois and Wisconsin, USA before permanently returning to Malaysia in 2013.

He is currently, the Group CEO, Adjunct Assistant Professor and major shareholder of Quantum Electro Opto Systems (QEOS) Sdn. Bhd., a Malaysian technology company which he co-founded in 2008 with Prof. Nick Holonyak Jr, the inventor of the Light Emitting Diode (LED) and Prof. Milton Feng.



Mohd Ghazali Mahmood

Executive Director


Mohd Ghazali Mahmood received his B.SC. Civil Engineering (Hons.) from the University of Southampton (UK) in 1975 and Diploma in Hydro Power from the Norweigian Institute of Technology, University of Trondheim (Norway) in 1981. He was a founding director of QEOS when it was incorporated in 2008, and is presently its Executive Director.

He started his career with the National Electicity Corporation where for nine years he was involved in the development of some of the major hydropower projects in Malaysia, namely the Temenggor and Kenyir Hydroelectric Power Plant Projects.
